Sci-MX Diätprotein 800g Schokolade

I've been trying the strawberry variety of this, and it definitely one of the nicer fruity protein flavours out there. It's a really fine powder mix so it blends really easily, whether using a bullet or a manual shaker. The instructions suggest 200ml of water per scoop, but I've found the best ratio is 100ml skimmed milk and 100ml water, which gives a really creamy shake. The nutritional mix is great, with 22g of protein per scoop, 110 cals, and very little fat and sugar. There are all the extra added bonuses in there too, like the green tea and L-Caritine - I don't take it specifically for that (I'm a basic kind of builder, the protein content is enough for me!) but it's nice to have them, and reading a bit about them, it does appear that there are known health and fitness benefits. A great strawberry protein shake - definitely one to add to the gym bottle rotation.

I have used this brand SCI-MX before and used a lot of their products and they have always been a reliable brand I trust and enjoy using. This product has a lot of extra ingredients such as green tea and L-caritine which have great health benefit whilst overall having a low sugar content which is perfect for those trying to cut down on sugar and improve your diet. The flavour is nice, not a very strong chocolate flavour but overall tasty and has a nice consistency when mixed with water.

This is the second shake from this brand I've tried now and it mixes similar to the other , slight powdery texture but not too bad , it's not as creamy as my shake of choice , it has a nice subtle strawberry flavour that still tastes sweet but not sickly sweet. It's high in protein at 22g per scoop , I mix it with half water and skimmed milk and it mixes well but the texture is slightly powdery but not so much that it puts me off , it's still a pleasure to drink post workout. I also like that's it's full of amino acids , vitamins, minerals with chromium too , it's bursting with muscle building ingredients, ideal for post workout shakes. It's not the cheapest for 800g of protein powder but it is packed with beneficial ingredients for working out or using as a meal replacement shake or just as part of your diet. If it was cheaper I'd definitely consider purchasing more but overall it's a good shake for building muscle.
