It is widely accepted that elevated Low Density Lipoprotein-C (LDL-C) levels are a major risk factor for coronary heart disease which can contribute to endothelial dysfunction and deposition of arteriosclerotic plaque.
Love Heart contains 500mg of patented Bergamonte Citrus Bergamot to provide the clinical dose used in studies alongside 200mg of patented Kaneka Ubiquinol.
Bergamot has been shown in research to significantly reduce total cholesterol, LDL, Triglycerides, Blood Glucose level; all while increasing High Density Lipoprotein (HDL). After 6 months of Bergamot supplementation, lipid levels decreased, while the atherogenic lipid pattern improved. Coenzyme Q10 (ubiquinone, ubiquinol, CoQ10) is a fat-soluble anti-oxidant vitamin found in most cells and membranes. Ubiquinone, the oxidized form of CoQ10, is commonly formulated in commercial supplements but it must be reduced to Ubiquinol to exert CoQ10's functions after consumption. The oral bioavailability of ubiquinol recently has been reported to be greater than that of ubiquinone.
Grapeseed extract at a dose of 300 mg daily resulted in a significant reduction in blood pressure. lowering systolic blood pressure as well as heart rate. Apium graveolens known as celery has demonstrated antioxidant, hypolipidemic and anti-inflammatory activities by acting as both a diuretic and vasodilator and has also been shown to lower blood cholesterol levels and reduce the formation of arterial plaque in animal preclinical studies. With this, 200mg of 10:1 Celery Seed Extract with 400mg Grapeseed extract has been included to aid in lowering hypertension.
